At Bedient Pipe Organ, step two in making pipes is transforming the lead sheets into a structurally stable material. We accomplish this by using a triphammer to compress and stiffen the lead. The beginning of the video shows how the hammered sheet (on top) differs from the sheet directly off of the casting table.
