Lincoln guy throws axe in road rage incident

The two exchanged gestures and profanities. When the 39-year-old parked in front of Crenshaw’s motor home and confronted him, Crenshaw produced an ax, he said.
The 39-year-old retreated to his car and started to make a u-turn to go southbound on Northwest 48th Street, having to pass Crenshaw again.
That’s when Crenshaw allegedly threw the ax at the car, striking the door. The ax went through an open window and the blunt end of the ax hit the driver in the ribs, Beggs said.
An officer drove up just after it happened. By that time, the officer said Crenshaw had a shovel out, claiming the other driver had tried to rum him over twice and that he was trying to defend himself. But, Beggs said, a witness refuted his story.
