Neighbor out on a walk found my franken rocket under the tree it was stuck in since January. Seems the kevlar finally gave way from the storm last night. The AT 24mm case was soaked and covered in gunk, but cleaned up well. The rocket was mostly mush and was inhabited by many ants and other assorted
creatures.
I gave a simple tug on the shock cord and the forward MMT ring came right out. The chute and NC are still in the tree, but I am fine with them gone. It pays to tell your neighbors that you have a rocket stuck in a tree. He thought it was just a hunk of garbage in the lawn while coming back from getting ice cream, but remembered I lost a rocket in the tree and investigated.
