Users of the Mopac East and Homestead recreational trails should be extra cautious during the next two weeks, as crews from the Lower Platte South Natural Resources District clean up after Tuesday’s storms.

Both trails are expected to remain open during the cleanup, but users need to watch out for work crews on the trails as they clear away fallen trees and branches, the Lincoln-based district said in a news release.

Aaron was out on the Jamaica / Homestead last night and said a lot of trees were down. I am betting wilderness could use some chainsaw action.
