Earlier this week, the store already had been mentioned on at least three local blogs or message boards, not including the Journal Star’s Biz Buzz, which reported the store’s opening Friday.
“I struggled to not buy every soda I craved and walked out with 15 bottles,” read one comment on Biz Buzz. “Damian is a really energetic and exciting guy. The joy in his eyes is like a kid in a candy store … ha.”
Star City Scene, a local music message board, had a few dozen posts about the store early this week, nearly every one gushing with praise.
