why do fritos give me strange burps when they are just corn, oil, and salt?

I must pay respects to pop rox Fritos = Three ingredients of awesome
I had a cheddar brat and some fritos for lunch and I got hella frito burps kicking. Kind of bogglin me. The chili cheese ones really put the hurt on my insidey parts though. I eat those only every now and then and always chase with an acid reducing pill.
